Cross Cultural Etiquette and Protocol for Sales

With many corporations looking to grow market share and expand into other markets through presence in countries within and outside Continental Africa, employees are required to be more socially savvy, sensitive to cultural norms and ethical codes as well as understanding of social etiquette and business interaction

When Salespeople and Sales Management understand that Sales and Sales Negotiations take place within a cultural context, they are better positioned to engage outside their comfort zones.

Participants are encouraged to develop polite and gracious behaviour, as well as relationship management skills that help them manage potentially volatile and delicate situations in ways that provide them the opportunity to demonstrate good manners, and understanding of their host country’s cultural and traditional approach to business.

Business Etiquette and Protocol

The Business Etiquette and Protocol programme allows businesses planning to establish presence outside their home countries and employees who are in management or executive positions to be fully acquainted with the laws, politics, culture, slangs (colloquialisms), social life and disposition to citizens of their host country or would-be host country.

Companies are able to determine what would be particularly relevant and useful to their employees, and help them avoid unsavoury incidents, miscommunication and feelings of disconnection and isolation.

Participants are introduced to tools, techniques and cultural nuances that enable them to operate effectively and efficiently in a multifunctional and multicultural environment.

Cross Culture Communication and Integration

This programme introduces Senior Management and Executives to global cultures, culturally contextual communication and negotiation, socially acceptable behaviour and business interaction to prevent cultural misunderstanding and boost corporate competitiveness.

Participants are provided with practical tools as well as models and framework to understanding and solving cultural differences in business and in regional subsidiaries. Programme content can be designed and configured for countries that clients and participants are interested in or focused to address specific business issues

The programme provides a deliberate and structured approach to understanding communication and ways of working in other cultures as well as managing the gaps and differences, from a deep understanding of their (participant) own culture towards effective integration within both cultures.
